Grinnell Railway Express is a model railroad club based in Grinnell, Iowa, U.S.A.  We are just off I-80.  Give us a call if you want to visit.  1-641-236-6555.  We are located just west of the Depot Crossing Restaurant at 731 Park St.  The old Railway Express Building with a beautiful mural painted on our North Wall.  Look for the rail diamond in the mural!  We often welcome visitors after they dine at the Depot Crossing Restaurant.  We meet often, but always on Monday and Friday evenings, 7-9 P.M.

We are affiliated with the Mayflower Homes, Inc. Membership and donations to our club qualify under the IRS rule 501 (c) (3).  Memberships begin at $20 per year. 

We are using Digitrax command control for our HO layout and MTH Digital command system (DCS) on our O gauge layout.

Club Missions: To bring the community together with educational and invigorating social gatherings in regards to Grinnell's connection to transportation history, emphasizing the railroad.

To become a community asset, creating a tourism destination.  To share our project with children for educational purposes through visits and mentoring.

To promote the pastime of scale modeling primarily the hobby of model railroading.
